Synopsis / In July, 1943, in Saint-Martin. In this small snowy village of the Alps, in full Second World War, Sebastian, an orphan and solitary 8-year-old child, meets and tames an abandoned dog, suspected by the villagers to have killed their sheep. He names her Belle, while the shepherds call it " the animal " and try to get rid of it.
